About Dr Manhattan
Arguably one of Zack Snyder’s most famous films, Watchmen adapted the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons graphic novel of the same name, bringing satirical superheroes to life. Hardcore fans have since debated online whether Watchmen was a win or a loss in modern comic book-adapted cinema.
Despite what you may think about the final product, one thing is for sure, the portrayal of Dr Manhattan in a life action film made everyone’s jaws drop.
Originally the satirical version of Charlton Comics superhero “The Atom,” Dr Manhattan’s one-liners and monologues in the Watchmen film make you think more than once about life, your place in the universe and existence as a whole.
