About The Misfits
Today we want to discuss the best Misfits songs. If we missed any of your favorite Misfits songs, let us know on social media!
The Misfits has been one of my all-time favorite bands since I was a teenager. I never got to see them live, but there used to be an amazing Misfits cover band in my area that I saw multiple times.
The Misfits is a classic punk rock band from Lodi, New Jersey. The band formed in 1977, with the band’s first album being released in 1982. Since their inception, the band has released seven full-length albums and a variety of EPs and collections.
Those who know the Misfits know their storied history of lineup changes. Between the Danzig-era, the Graves-era, and the Only-era, The Misfits have had almost twenty different members to the band. Though the band has always played horror-inspired punk rock, their sound has changed over the decades with their lineup changes.
Many classic Misfits songs are based around old B horror movies. The name The Misfits comes from a 1961 movie of the same name starring Clark Gabel and Marilyn Monroe.
