About Wednesday Addams
Wednesday Addams is the creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams in The Addams Family franchise. At the start of the Netflix show, she lets loose a school of piranhas in a school swimming pool to punish a group of jocks for bullying her brother – getting her expelled.
When it’s clear going to a high school with the ‘normies’ of society isn’t going to work for her, her parents enroll her into Nevermore Academy, Morticia’s old high school and a private school for monstrous outcasts. During the first season we are witness to Wednesday’s cold and emotionless personality in multiple comedic situations which adds a flair to her personality. She goes from loner outcast to fellow Nevermore Academy students finally accepting her for who she is.
To top it all off, throughout the show she begins to realize that she’s inherited her mother’s psychic abilities which helps her solve a murder mystery of a fellow student. Wednesday is gothic-comedy gold!
