Dr Pepper Strawberries And Cream Review

Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream

A soda that hits like a dessert, is it a dream or is it something we just haven’t seen yet? Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream seems to be the answer we’ve been waiting for, rich historic taste in the Dr. Pepper brand and strawberries with cream as a pleasant add-in. The only way it could be better is by having it dispensed fountain-style.

Well, I’m not exactly out on a leisurely cafe search, so a plastic bottle of the stuff seems like an agreeable compromise. I was able to snag a 2fer on this making inflation just negligibly more manageable. With that in mind, It’s taken me quite some time to see them individually out in the wild so I agreed the opportunity cost here, was worth it.

I almost wanted to start drinking it on the drive home and come up with ways to communicate how it enhanced it, but I’m also super nervous about spills. Plus I’m only comfortable sharing the road with others as often as America has Tricentennials. That said, I got two to make sure I dispense only the most honest feelings about this wildly popular new drink.

Nutrition Facts For Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream

If we’re looking for a singular serving and we’re okay with 20 fluid ounces, then in one bottle we’ll be getting 250 calories, 0g total fat, 95mg sodium, 66g total carb, 65g total sugars, 65g added sugars, 0g protein, and 68mg caffeine.

Naturally, the sugars are the item that rings all forms of alarms. Otherwise, the calorie content seems to be okay, especially if you’re someone that does a bottle throughout the day. I mentioned having two bottles earlier, but pinky promise, I only do a bottle throughout the day. Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream looks like a complex taste to produce but certainly one very much coveted by a soft drink enjoyer. With the facts sorted, how does the taste resonate within the Dr. Pepper brand?

Dr Pepper Strawberries And Cream

Is This Strawberry Fields Forever Or Just Medicine From The Doctor?

After twisting the cap off of this soda the aroma of cream is undeniable. It almost takes me back to the Creme Savers Strawberry & Cream smell, absolutely starting on a good foot. The initial sip concisely pours on that they weren’t just looking to stamp something onto the label. The strawberries and cream stand out here as if they were meant to be.

The taste is very much Doctor Pepper but the way they blend that default flavor with strawberries and cream expertly enhances the labeled flavor. The cream is a strong and staying flavor but the strawberry isn’t subtle by any measure. It springs up throughout the sip and the aftertaste is very much pleasant.

I feel like if one finds themselves truly enjoying Dr. Pepper original, they won’t be able to help falling in love with the Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream flavor. I would give this a 9/10 and it would assuredly take place of the original if I wanted a soda. My biggest problem with this was ever finding it as a single bottle ANYWHERE. It took me months, otherwise, I would have had to buy it in a 12-pack which is a bit much to see if I’m going to enjoy a drink.
