Horton Hears A Who! is a CGI animated film based on Dr. Seuss’ classic 1954 children’s book. Jonah Hill stars alongside other comedy greats such as Jim Carrey, Seth Rogan, Caroll Burnett, and Will Arnett. The film was produced by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox. The first theatrically released animated film for Jonah Hill, Jonah plays the role of a bear named Tommy, who is a student of Horton. The film follows Horton the Elephant struggling to protect a microscopic community from his neighbors who refuse to believe it exists.

Andy Hamilton – The Simpsons (2009)

Jonah Hill also got to voice act for the classic comedy series The Simpsons. He plays the character of Andy Hamilton, who is known for being a writer on The Krusty the Clown Show and being the ultimate prankster. Jonah appears as Andy in the episode “Pranks and Greens” (Season 21, Episode 6).

Starring alongside Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, and America Ferrera – Jonah Hill get barbaric by playing the arrogant Snotlout Jorgenson. The only film in the franchise to not be released the same year as a Lego Movie film, however this film did release the same year as another animated film mentioned on this list starring Jonah Hill and has Will Ferrell titled Megamind (2010), which was made by the same studio as this film.

Jonah Hill’s second animated film of 2010, after How to Train Your Dragon (2010) which was also from DreamWorks Animation.

Jonah Hill plays the role of a hot dog named Carl. Seth Rogen developed the idea of the film in 2007. It was based on something he and Jonah Hill would joke around about. While promoting Superbad (2007) and Knocked Up (2007), people would ask Rogen what his next project will be, in which he jokingly replied, “It’s called ‘Sausage Party.'”
