About Eurotrip
Directed by Jeff Schaffer, Eurotrip is a comedy predominantly focused around a road trip and sex. It stars Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg and Travis Wester. It was released in the year 2004.
Eurotrip is about main character Scott Thomas who travels to Europe in search of his hot pen pal. His friends, Cooper, Jenny and Jamie follow him on his quest which takes them to England, France, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, and Italy. To name a few countries.
I couldn’t believe that I still had a copy of Eurotrip on DVD so after a recent re-watch I started to jot down a few movies like Eurotrip which I think you’ll find hilarious. Enjoy!
1. Road Trip (2000)
Directed by Todd Phillips, Road Trip is a comedy about a college student named Josh who embarks on a road trip across the country with his friends to retrieve an embarrassing videotape he sent to his girlfriend. A videotape which may or may not show him cheating on her.
Along the way, they encounter a series of hilarious and unexpected challenges and adventures, as they race against time to reach their destination. The film is a coming-of-age comedy that explores themes of friendship, love, and growing up.

2. The Hangover (2009)
Directed by Todd Phillips, The Hangover stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha and Jeffrey Tambor. It was released in the year 2009.
The Hangover is about four life-long friends who had to Las Vegas for a bachelor party but when they lose the Bachelor during a night of debauchery – they have have to put their differences aside to find their friend.

3. Beerfest (2006)
Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, Beerfest is a comedy starring Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Will Forte, Ralf Moller, Mo’Nique, Eric Christian Olsen, Jurgen Prochnow and Cloris Leachman. It was released in the year 2006.
Beerfest focuses on the characters played by comedy group, Broken Lizard, and centers around Oktoberfest and the various mishaps that ensure when two of the characters, Jan and Todd, discover they are somehow related to drinking game tournament Baron Wolfgang von Wolfhausen.
4. Road Trip: Beer Pong (2009)
Directed by Steve Rash, Road Trip: Beer Pong (or, Road Trip 2) is a sequel in the Road Trip franchise starring Preston Jones, Michael Trotter, Nestor Aaron Absera, Danny Pudi and Julianna Guill. It was released in the year 2009.
Road Trip: Beer Pong is about Preston Jones’ character Andy who worries about being apart from his girlfriend, Katy, while he’s at college. Urged by his friends to not worry about her, Andy runs into an old girlfriend and now Beer Pong model, Jenna, who he lusts after. So Andy and his friends decide to go on a road trip following Jenna and her model friends around the country. But things get more complicated when Katy switches colleges to be closer to Andy.
5. American Pie (2009)
Directed by Paul Weitz, American Pie is a teen sex comedy starring Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari and Eddie Kaye Thomas. It was released in the year 1999.
American Pie follows a group of high school friends as they navigate their way through the ups and downs of teenage life, including first loves, heartbreak, and the quest to lose their virginity before graduation.
With its relatable characters, raunchy humor, and timeless themes, American Pie has become a beloved staple of pop culture and has spawned numerous sequels and spin-offs. Whether you’re a fan of the original or new to the franchise, American Pie is sure to leave you laughing, cringing, and feeling nostalgic for your own high school days.

6. The Girl Next Door (2004)
Directed by Luke Greenfield, The Girl Next Door is a romantic comedy starring Emile Hirsch as Matthew Kidman, a high school student who has lived a sheltered life and is on track to become valedictorian. But his life gets turned upside down when a former porn star named Danielle (played by Elisha Cuthbert) moves in next door.
As Matthew gets to know Danielle, he discovers that she is much more than the pornstar stereotype. The Girl Next Door mixes coming-of-age, teen and even p*rnstar stereotypes to deliver a unique (at least for the time) story that is as entertaining as it is tongue in cheek. Sorry, bad pun.
7. Porky’s (1981)
Directed and written by Bob Clark, Porky’s is a teen sex comedy starring Kim Cattrall, Scott Colomby, Kaki Hunter, Nancy Parsons, Alex Karras, and Susan Clark. It was released in the year 1981.
Porky’s is the originator of the teen sex comedy phase and was well ahead of its time. It follows a group of Florida high school students and their plans to lose their virginity which involves a notorious strip club called (yes, you guessed it): Porky’s.
8. Dude, Where’s My Car? (2000)
Directed by Danny Leiner, Dude, Where’s My Car? is an absolutely bonkers comedy where everything that can go wrong does go wrong. It stars Ashton Kutcher, Seann William Scott, Kristy Swanson, Jennifer Garner, and Marla Sokoloff. It was released in the year 2000.
Dude, Where’s My Car? is about two roommates, Jesse and Chester, who wake up with hangovers only to find out their car is missing which sparks the iconic question “Dude, where’s my car?” The quest to track down their car involves a local arcade, a cannabis-loving dog named Jackal, a cult and some extraterrestrials that the pair may or may not have slept with.
In the end you’ll be happy to know the universe does not get destroyed, Jesse and Chester do not stay members of a cult and they do find their car.
9. Detroit Rock City (1999)
Directed by Adam Rifkin, Detroit Rock City is a teen comedy starring Edward Furlong, Sam Huntington, Giuseppe Andrews, James DeBello, Lin Shaye, Melanie Lynskey, Natasha Lyonne and Shannon Tweed. It was released in the year 1999.
Detroit Rock City is about four teens in a heavy metal band who decide to go on a road trip to see Kiss. During which they end up all sorts of mishaps like disguising themselves as pizza delivery boys and drugging a Priest with hallucinogens, beating up a disco duo, dancing a lady’s strip club and getting themselves laid – all before seeing the greatest rock n roll band on earth!
10. Knocked Up (2007)
Directed and written by Judd Apatow, Knocked Up is a romantic comedy starring Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Jason Segel and Martin Starr. It was released in the year 2007.
Knocked Up was a huge 2007 film. It focuses on Katherine Heigl’s character, LA reporter Alison Scott, and Seth Rogen’s character, bludger named Ben Stone, who have a drunken one night stand which results in Alison falling pregnant. Then they have to (comically) deal with the pregnancy in the best way they know how.
11. Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
Directed by Joel Gallen, Not Another Teen Movie is a comedy that parodies the entire teenage movie genre. Rather than being about a specific story, it’s a satirical take on the various cliches, stereotypes, and over-the-top elements found in many popular teen films. With a dreadfully painful soundtrack to match, filled with early 2000s tragics like Everclear, Marilyn Manson, Sixpence None the Richer, System of a Down and Scott Weiland.
Interestingly, Not Another Teen Movie was the the directorial debut of MTV executive Joel Gallen, and includes many well known actors and actresses like Chris Evans, Chyler Leigh, Mia Kirschner, Jaime Pressly and Lacey Chabert, to name a few.
12. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (2004)
Directed by Danny Leiner, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is a buddy cop stoner film in which the two characters involved aren’t cops. It stars John Cho, Kal Penn and Neil Patrick Harris. It was released in the year 2004..
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is the first film in the Harold and Kumar movie series and is pretty simple in its premise of two stoners going to a White Castle restaurant after smoking a joint – yet awesome in its delivery.
13. Old School (2003)
Directed and co-written by Todd Phillips, Old School is a black comedy starring Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell. It was released in the year 2003.
Old School is about a trio of depressed men who are having a mid life crisis in their thirties. Figuring out the only answer is by re-starting their old college fraternity they get into all sorts of mishaps before finally facing up to the changes in life.
14. Me, Myself and Irene (2000)
Directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, Me, Myself and Irene is a crazy comedy starring Jim Carrey, Renee Zellweger, Chris Cooper, Robert Forster, Richard Jenkins, Daniel Greene, Anthony Anderson and Jerod Mixon. It was released in the year 2000.
Me, Myself and Irene is about Jim Carrey’s character, state trooper Charlie Baileygates, who has a history of everyone in his life taking advantage of him. To the point where his wife cheats on him with a black dwarf and she gives birth to triplets that are clearly not his. When his wife leaves him he decides to raise the three kids on his own. Being a push over and having difficulty with confrontations, Charlie eventually develops a split personality named “Hank Evans” who is the polar opposite of Charlie in every possible way.
When Charlie is ordered to escort Irene Waters to Massena, New York for a hit-and-run crime he begins to develop feelings for her. Feelings which are made hilariously worse when his split personality, Hank, convinces Irene to sleep with Charlie. And the insanity doesn’t end there.
15. Get Him to the Greek (2010)
Directed by Nicholas Stoller, Get Him to the Greek is a comedy starring Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, Elisabeth Moss, Rose Byrne, Colm Meaney and Sean Combs. It was released in the year 2010.
Get Him to the Greek sees Russell Brand reprise his role as obnoxious rockstar, Aldous Snow, whom he portrayed in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. While Jonah Hill’s character, Aaron Green, is new to this film and is a talent scout who pitches that Aldous Snow perform at a famous venues called The Greek. Unfortunately for Aaron, when he first meets Aldous Snow, Aldous is on a downride spiral and needs a bit of motivation.
