Super Bowl LVI Moon Knight Trailer
On Sunday, Marvel Studios revealed the second official trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight. Directed by Mohamed Diab, the action-adventure superhero series features a vigilante who suffers from a dissociative identity disorder. Moon Knight is scheduled to be released on March 30, 2022, on Disney+ and will consist of six episodes. It will be part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In the new ‘Big Game’ spot, we see Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac) battling the voices in his head as he’s tortured by strange nightmares. We get an even better look at the series antagonist played by Ethan Hawke. Hawke’s character known as Arthur Harrow displays concern for Marc before showing him his moving tattoos. In the final moments of the trailer, we see new footage of Moon Knight in action leaping into a group of men as his cape unfolds into the shape of a crescent moon.
Arthur Harrow, a scientist in the comics who appears in the trailer as an enigmatic cult leader. Arthur seems aware of Marc’s disorder and the voices flooding his thoughts, Harrow advises him to “embrace the chaos” and then shortly after Marc is engulfed by the ivory, mummy-like uniform.
Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ on March 30, 2022.
