About Your Old Droog
Your Old Droog is a Urkrainian-American hip hop artist from Brooklyn, New York. He first came to fame in 2014 with his first self-titled album. No one knew who he was at the time, but that album was extremely popular due to his intense wordplay and playful rap style. Some people even thought Droog was a secret alter-ego of the legendary hip hop artist Nas. This album contains classic Your Old Droog tracks such as Nutty Bars and Bad To The Bone. It also has my personal favorite Droog track, Loosey In The Store With Pennies.
After the release of his first album, Droog appeared on Sway In The Morning for an interview and some rapping. After some silly banter, Sway puts Droog on the spot with some Five Fingers Of Death action. This recurring bit has Sway putting down five beats for rappers to freestyle over.
Since this appearance, Your Old Droog has released a plethora of albums and EPs. He continues to be one of the most creative and lyrical hip hop artists of recent history. With that said, we will never forget this legendary radio performance.

Watch Your Old Droog Kill The 5 Fingers Of Death
Droog absolutely kills it with these beats. Some of these lyrics would end up appearing on Droog’s 2015 EP titled Kinison. He even stops rapping for a second to give props to the crew for playing the instrumental for Bangers by The Alchemist and Lloyd Banks.
This is one of my all-time favorite hip hop videos on YouTube. I still watch it every few months. In my opinion, this radio performance is up there with the likes of Locksmith and Black Thought. Droog is one of my all-time favorite hip hop artists.
